Huntington University has an opening for Vice President for University Advancement

Under the general direction of the President, the Vice President for University Advancement serves on the senior leadership team, and is responsible for fund-raising, gift planning, alumni relations and external community outreach programs. The Vice President for University Advancement reports to the President and provides leadership to the campus for fund-raising programs that are ethical, conform to the policies of the president and the Board of Trustees, and reflect Christian values.

 QUALIFICATIONS

    • Must have a strong personal Christian commitment and faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to serve others
    • Must be committed to the mission of Huntington University as a comprehensive Christian College dedicated to educating students to impact our world for Christ
    • Demonstrated understanding of Christian higher education
    • Significant and successful experience in directing an advancement operation, or related experience.
    • Master’s degree or equivalent required.
    • Knowledge of and experience with Advancement operating systems.
    • Positive interpersonal skills and a team player
    • Excellent communications skills
    • Demonstrated administrative and supervisory skills
    • Commitment to continuous process improvement

Work Schedule: This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt position.
