Overview
Position Overview:
The Sustainability Intern is responsible for working alongside the sustainability department at Keystone Cooperative. Assignments include collecting and analyzing data, understanding technical requirements related to Keystone sustainability programs, develop understanding of regenerative agriculture production systems, and conducting research. Experiences will include: conducting in-field research to quantify agronomic & economic impacts of conservation practices such as cover crops and no-till, participating in customer meetings, utilizing digital platforms used by farmers and Keystone to collect agronomic data, and more.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to:
- Work closely with the Sustainability Business Development Lead and other members of Keystone Cooperative team to shadow and understand the business within a cooperative.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for efficiency opportunities.
- Collect and analyze data for sustainability programs offered by Keystone.
- Conduct in-field research related to novel winter oilseed crop.

Education and Experience:
- Incoming Junior or Senior in process of obtaining Bachelor’s degree in agronomy or other ag-related field (e.g., animal science, environmental science).
- 1-2 summers of internship(s) in the ag industry.
