POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for working as a partner supporting customer & dealer network within the AgriGold & LG Brands. The Supply Planner will be responsible for the daily management of the Brand’s supply positioning. In this role the planner will act as the liaison between sales needs and production runs. This role is key to the supply chain process to assure proper floor positioning to serve the shipping needs, while being managed in the most cost-effective manner.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Deliver exceptional customer care to the AgriGold, LG Sales Teams and their customers.
  • Train and coach Sales and Sales Support Specialist teams on production and supply chain processes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process flows, reduce shipment delays and eliminate production bottlenecks.
  • Prioritize production runs based on sales demands and plant capacity.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports and spreadsheets related to demand forecasting and planning.
  • Create, build and maintain data table structures.
  • Analyze data to draw actionable conclusions and recommend next steps.
  • Investigate discrepancies between multiple data sources and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Meet corporate deadlines related to dealer and customer accounts.
  • Communicate and implement brand directives.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain or related field desired.
  • Three (3+) or more years’ experience with ERP systems and supply chain management is desired.
  • Advanced certifications such as Six Sigma, Lean, and/or APICS preferred.
  • Knowledge of seed industry is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to work required hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Some overnight travel required.
