Site Controller
- This position is based out of Richmond, Indiana. The incumbent must be based in Richmond, Indiana by Q1 of 2026 (relocation package is available) but can work remotely until Q1 of 2026.
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday (Regular overtime and evening/weekend support is required)

Position Overview:
The Site Controller will manage the Company’s accounting activities at both the site and corporate level. They will help build best-in-class processes to support the company’s growth. The Site Controller will help deliver financial insights, budgets, forecasts and plans. This role requires both hands-on accounting work as well as high-level strategic work. The successful candidate must be comfortable owning the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the Company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain the general ledger and accounting functions and systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate financial accounts.
- Manage the month-end closing process and ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly in a timely manner.
- Develop, implement, and manage accounting processes and support improvements to accounting systems that allow company to scale.
- Analyze operational and financial data, investigate variances, identify business drivers, and evaluate their impact on planned objectives.
- Support the CFO, CBO, and Site Director with overall financial stewardship, reporting, and compliance.
- Prepare, analyze, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management. Assist the CFO with investor-facing and Board communications. and any ad hoc analyses as requested
- Participate in organizational financial planning and risk management.
- Maintain superior accounting systems, access controls and ensure control of confidential and proprietary information.
- Manage Invoice, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable payroll reparation/submission. Process all vendor payments.
- Conduct review/reimbursement/reconciliation of all Expensify expense reports.
- Work with senior leaders to manage annual departmental budgets and forecasts.
- Work with the CFO to manage the coordination and completion of annual financial audits.
- Coordinate with tax accountant on annual tax returns; prepare sales tax research/reports and submission as needed and file DE annual reports as well as pay quarterly taxes.
- Analyzes operational and financial data, investigates variances, identifies business drivers, and evaluates their impact on planned objectives.
- Interface with budget holders in providing budget reports and forecasts monthly. Serve as a financial business partner to operational leaders.
- Develop internal reports to communicate accounting developments of relevance to management.
- Implement and leverage tools that track and support key business metrics and KPI’s.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business, accounting, or finance, is required.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance is required.
- 3+ years’ experience as either a Controller or equivalent role is required.
- Experience working in a manufacturing company is required.
- Extensive experience and capabilities with the following are required:

- Credit card reconciliations (very high level of proficiency).

- Bank reconciliations (very high level of proficiency).

- Experience with POs / Bills / reconciliations.

- Experience working in a start-up environment is preferred.
