Overview

Duration: Paid Internship from May – August 2025.

Housing: Furnished housing or stipend provided.

What to expect: Valuable experience related to the agriculture industry, professional development, summer project, etc.

 

Purpose and Scope

This position is responsible for learning about the Beck’s organization and implementing learned knowledge to assist in various training and educational activities.  This position is expected to assist in the educational activities of employees and dealers.  This position is authorized to perform the steps necessary to ensure that its responsibilities are met.

 

Responsibilities

Education Department:

  • Receive new employee training, agronomic training, and sales training with an excellent learning attitude.
  • Represent Beck’s with a positive attitude at all events and activities.
  • Work with the Education Coordinator to identify an education project to complete for your internship.
  • Assist with presentations, handouts, and preparation of materials for Beck’s educational trainings.
  • Aid in planning and facilitating the Education Department session at the Intern Professional Development Workshop.
  • Create content for the “We Are Beck’s” social media platforms.
  • Assist in the development and design of the Beck’s booth at the National FFA Convention.
  • Develop content for future training events with the Education Department.
  • Manage meeting site reservations and catering needs for meetings.
  • Organize computer files for the education drive.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Beck’s Teamwork

This position entails the support of other departments, it will periodically be necessary that you work with other departments to support their projects.

 

Job Requirements

Education and training:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Currently enrolled in college in Ag or Education related field.

Technical knowledge:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess a positive attitude.
  • Basic computer and current software skills.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of college.
  • Past work experience in education or related field requiring communication and creative development skills.
