In this full-time role, you’ll guide initiatives that attract new business, support local employers, and shape the future of workforce development in one of Indiana’s fastest-growing counties. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across government, education, and industry—turning strategy into impact.
What You’ll Lead:
•Strategic Growth: Design and deliver an annual economic development roadmap aligned with Boone EDC’s long-term vision.
•Business Attraction & Site Readiness: Manage attraction leads, site visits, and partnerships to drive investment.
•Retention & Expansion: Support existing businesses with incentives, expansion planning, and regulatory compliance.
•Workforce Development: Collaborate to grow talent pipelines and innovative employment programs.
•Partnership Engagement: Build bridges with regional and state leaders, host local events, and support community-wide collaboration.

•Salary starts at $68,000, with performance bonuses
