POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Human Resource Coordinator, your key responsibilities will be to support the HR Team’s day-to-day operations in partnership with other members of the HR Team. This position will support employee onboarding and offboarding, entry of employee data in UKG Pro, the delivery and quality assurance of human resources data, and help to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role will partner closely with the HRIS Analyst to support UKGPro Core HRIS, Payroll, Timekeeping modules.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for accurate and timely entry of new hires, transfers, status changes, and terminations into the HRIS system. Conduct regular audits to ensure employee data is entered accurately.
  • Responsible for the timely creation, mailing or other distribution of employee documents and communications for onboarding and exits.
  • Process and monitor employee background checks and MVRs and ensure compliance with confidentiality and legal requirements.
  • In partnership with the Talent Team, support and administer the onboarding process in UKG.
  • Monitor, document, and audit needs for changes in employee records.
  • Audit for data integrity of company personnel records within the system and within paper files.
  • Assist with system maintenance updates, uploads, reviews, clean up, etc.
  • Assist with administration of HR and Compliance programs such as service awards, tuition reimbursement, and select safety programs.
  • Serve as a UKG Pro help desk representative and may act as backup for the HRIS Analyst.
  • Assist with the administration of the worker’s compensation program, including claims monitoring and administration, report generation, and communication with employees, managers, insurance carriers, medical staff, and lawyers.
  • Maintain and organize employee records and Worker’s Compensation files in accordance with legal and record retention requirements.
  • May provide assistance with data entry and maintenance of employee benefits data and support.
  • May create reports for distribution to internal stakeholders.
  • Create new job aids and/or process documentation and/or update current job aids and/or documentation of system processes.
  • Attend user training sessions to maintain system knowledge and proficient utilization.
  • Actively participates in human resource projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree or higher preferred.
  • One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in human resources
  • Exposure to HR disciplines such as payroll, benefits, and HRIS data entry are preferred
  • Experience with HRIS systems, especially UKG Pro
  • Experience with Worker’s Compensation administration a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to work required hours.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and meet MVR requirements.
