Solinftec is an innovative digital agriculture company rapidly expanding its operations in the United States with 22
million acres, 30,000 machines connected and 100,000 daily users. Solinftec was recently named “Most Innovative
International Startup – Series A” by AgFunder. As a leader in IoT and A.I. for agriculture, Solinftec has deployed several
systems for the sugar, ethanol, corn, soybean, cotton and citrus industries.
The company develops hardware, software, mobile applications, integration with ERP legacy systems and telecom
carriers, and creates value-added solutions for digital agriculture. Solinftec was founded in 2007 in Aracatuba, São
Paulo, Brazil. The company recently expanded into North America and has since established its North American
headquarters in West Lafayette, Indiana. As part of Solinftec’s growth strategy, international plans include significant
expansion in the United States and Canada, as well as a presence in Latin America and Australia.
We are looking for a Visual Designer to help shape the identity of the Solinftec brand and create powerful and actionable
materials for a wide variety of audiences. The designer will join our small, but mighty, global marketing team. We’re a
hard working group of marketers, communicators and designers, located across the United States and Brazil.
The Visual Designer will be responsible for providing creative assets for Solinftec’s visual marketing initiatives in North
America – everything from digital advertisements and social media design to website and landing page design. The
designer will work closely with the team in North America to increase awareness of the brand and build trust with key
audiences across the United States and Canada. To be successful in this role, the designer will also need to work closely
with Solinftec marketers and designers located in Brazil to ensure consistency with visual assets across the globe.
As Solinftec grows in North America, the Visual Designer will have the opportunity to help build the future of the brand
and help structure the company’s global marketing initiatives. This position reports to the global Head of Marketing.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Help manage the company’s website, refreshing visual web collateral and helping design landing pages.
Ideate and create marketing collateral with the North American marketing team.
Collateral may include:
– Digital and print advertisement
– Sales materials such as pitch decks and product one-pager
– Customer materials including product feature announcement
– Email marketing headers and graphic
– Visual collaterals for corporate events and speaking opportunities
– Outdoor signage
-Employee materials from branded apparel to email newsletter headers
Assist with design needs for the new North American headquarters office space – designing branded wall art and
As time allows, assist the product team with UX design for mobile and web applications.
Manage the company’s brand book – updating it as needed to incorproate new products or platforms.
Serve as the orginazation’s brand enforcer, setting parameters for visual design and communicating with internal and
external parties to ensure consistency.
Experience in a high-growth, tech-driven environment is preferred.
Experience in or knowledge of the agriculture industry is preferred, but not required.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related discipline.
A strong background managing a wide variety of design projects for diverse channels.
Experience designing digital advertising assets including display ads and social media ads.
Experience using a variety of marketing tools including email marketing software and content
Extensive experience with the Adobe Suite – particularly Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
Comfort working alongside a marketing team and interest in taking an active role in brainstorming
projects and initiatives to meet company goals.
