Corteva has an exciting opportunity for a Transaction Specialist. In this role you will provide a variety of support to both our Tipton, IN and Johnston, IA sales support groups. You will use your conflict resolution and customer service experience to act as the liaison for all customer service and support related services to customers, sales representatives, and field sales personnel. You’ll serve as a subject matter expert in sales programs, sales processes, customer information, account maintenance, and all related services.

This role can accommodate a flexible work arrangement where you may work multiple days a week from home.

  • Provide high-level customer service to internal and external customers
  • Effectively and efficiently resolve issues presented by internal and external customers using problem-solving skills
  • Work in partnership with product line teams
  • Provide high-quality service to customers, field sales staff, and employees
  • Respond and initiate process discussions with key stakeholders through effective questioning, doing the necessary research, and utilizing problem resolution skills to effectively resolve issues.
  • Serve as experts in assigned core tasks, effectively communicate and coach team members and other business contacts by maintaining a detailed knowledge and understanding of sales programs, process guidelines, and deadlines.
  • Communicate customer feedback as necessary to key sales reps, field sales staff, and employees
  • Respond to inquiries regarding account balances/statements/refunds
  • Assist field sales team with administrative activities when needed.  i.e. refunds and invoice adjustments
  • Process customer account adjustments (e.g., program credits and balance transfers), program exceptions, and special pricing adjustments/discounts
  • Research all Competitive Product Requests and submit them to the database.
  • Seed and Feed Taxes and Licensing for Pioneer and Multi-Channel Companies
  • Calculate Equipment Agreement Lees Feeds & Incentives
  • Ensure proper documentation is provided and maintained to support program exceptions
  • Administer the Grundy loan program


The following are required:

  • Associate degree in business or related field of study
  • 2-3 years of experience in a customer service, bookkeeping, or accounting related role
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite including advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Sum Ifs)


The following are preferred:

  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree in business or accounting
  • Basic accounting experience/knowledge
  • Demonstrated knowledge of agriculture
