What You’ll Experience
As a Swine Research Intern, you’ll immerse yourself in hands-on experiences that span from commercial swine production, research trials, and data collection. Working closely with our farm managers, research scientists and technical services team, you’ll actively contribute to advancements in animal nutrition and husbandry. From farrowing, nursery, and finishing operations to feed formulation, feed manufacturing, and sales, you’ll do more than just observe—you’ll be an essential member of our team. We’re committed to providing a comprehensive learning experience that covers every aspect of swine operations and beyond. The expertise you gain will be a powerful asset as you advance in your career. Many of our interns have transitioned into successful careers within United Animal Health, and you could be next!
Where You’ll Be
Our interns are based at our swine farms in Sheridan, Indiana and Frankfort, Indiana with frequent local travel to our headquarters and feed mill. You’ll have the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in an authentic on-farm experience while also applying your skills in a corporate setting. We offer relocation assistance and a housing stipend, along with competitive pay, to make your internship experience as comfortable as it is exciting!
