Overview

 

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Order Management:
  • Review and manage inbound orders daily, ensuring accurate inventory levels and appropriate shipping locations.
  • Oversee sales orders, EDI transactions, pricing management, billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, and packaging specifications.
  • Track on-time pick-up for all orders and provide feedback to the customer regarding any issues or delays.
  • Coordinate sales order lead times and ensure timely processing to meet customer expectations.

Demand Planning & Scheduling:

  • Coordinate demand planning, forecasting, and scheduling with production plants while balancing inventory levels.
  • Balance production and capacity to ensure each item is made at the most appropriate facility.
  • Collaborate effectively with sales, labels, and purchasing teams to communicate any item changes.
  • Manage budget considerations, outlook projections, and the latest estimates to align production with customer demand.

 

Material Coordination:

  • Ensure a steady supply of packaging materials, finished goods, and supplies in line with contractual obligations.
  • Manage buyer pick-up coordination, including appointment scheduling and carrier tracking.
  • Ensure the company defines specifications, such as SCCC labels and information printed on the case, to maintain compliance and meet customer requirements.

 

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels regularly to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures to ensure product availability while minimizing costs.

 

Data Quality Management:

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data related to inventory, orders, and product specifications.
  • Conduct regular audits of the item master and other data repositories to maintain high standards of data quality.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Generate reports and analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Establish regular cost reviews and audits to ensure compliance with cost changes per our contractual obligations.
  • Administer claims and RMA processes to minimize operational disruptions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain coordination.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage cross-functional relationships.
  • Experience in multi-plant manufacturing and distribution networks.
  • Proven ability to lead project teams, particularly in system implementations.
