About The Role:

The Splenda Racing Marketing Manager will utilize the Splenda brand’s partnership with Ed Carpenter Racing in the IndyCar series to drive consideration and conversion for Splenda.

The role will be tasked with creating impactful content and distinctive experiences together with the race team and drivers.  The Splenda Racing Marketing Manager will also create and execute a short and long-term sports strategy to drive value for Splenda.

This role will give you the opportunity to lead and work with cross-functional teams in Splenda, Ed Carpenter Racing, and other Sports organizations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Development: Develop and manage the partnership with Ed Carpenter Racing for Splenda
  • Content Creation: Develop and execute compelling content that utilizes Ed Carpenter Racing – the crew, the cars, and the drivers.
  • Marketing Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive sports marketing strategy that drives growth with incremental audiences for Splenda. Drive in-retail activations for the brand.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, partners, customers, and media outlets.
  • Event Management: Plan and oversee sports-related events and activations to maximize brand exposure and engagement.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing activations and partnerships, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve marketing goals.

 

Desired Skills & Required Experience

  • Experience: 4-6 years of experience in sports marketing, with a proven track record of developing successful partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Skills: Strong project management, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficiency in sports content creation.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Passion: A deep passion for sports – IndyCar racing knowledge is a plus.
  • Creativity: Ability to think creatively and develop innovative marketing solutions.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaboration

  • Position is in-office based at Heartland Corporate Headquarters in Carmel, IN on the north side of Indianapolis (Relocation eligible). Occasional business travel required.
