As we continue to grow, our culture is maintained by those who work hard to make a difference in the lives of farmers. Beck’s is seeking Software Development Interns for the Summer of 2024. The internship will take place from May – August.
Purpose and Scope
This position is responsible for learning about and assisting with the creation and maintenance of custom software applications. Interns will participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle; including analysis, design, programming, testing, implementation, and support.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a software development team to produce custom software solutions.
- Learn new coding languages and technologies specific to your team.
- Learn about and participate in Agile Software Development.
- Participate in a Professional Development workshop.
- Support Company goals and objectives, policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as may be required by supervisor.
Job Requirements
1. Education and training:
- Currently enrolled as a college student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or another related field.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record as determined by Beck’s automobile insurance policy.
2. Experience:
- Experience building data-driven applications.
3. Characteristics for Success:
