Overview: 

The Senior Director – Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will help design and execute Elanco’s DEI global strategy toward enterprise goals.  There are many opportunities in this space to innovate and learn, experiment and pilot, and work closely with senior leaders, HR business partners, recruiting, and the enterprise to drive change. Elanco Animal Health’s culture of involvement, innovation, and ownership makes the environment ripe for change in this space. The role requires thought leadership and the ability to customize solutions for our organization driven by data.

 

Major Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Help build and execute our global DEI short and mid-range plans in alignment with talent needs to deliver business value and DEI actionable goals
  • Develop benchmarks and metrics for strategic interventions and organizational goals that help advance Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
  • Advise and utilize the Global DEI Council and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to support the execution and governance of our DEI initiatives
  • Oversee the annual planning and governance of ERGs
  • Implement key identified projects, including pay equity analysis, on a consistent basis
  • Advise Global Talent Management on mechanisms to integrate and embed DEI into all phases of the employee lifecycle
  • Oversee the Future of Work initiatives along with the Global Head of Talent Management
  • Champion and execute internal and external DEI awards strategies

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree. Military experience may be considered in lieu of a degree on a case-by-case basis.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in HR, Talent Development, Talent Management, Recruitment or Employee Training
