We are:

Rogo, an agri-technology company that is delivering true, scalable innovation to agricultural soil fertility management, one soil sample at a time.  We use self-driving robots to eliminate human error and improve the accuracy of soil sampling to increase fertilizer placement ROI for growers. True to our name, Rogo, which means “to ask”, our relentless truth-seeking has enabled legitimate, tested value at scale as the largest commercial row-crop robotics operation, and fostered a unique team culture of humility as we grow with each other on this adventure.

  • 1-Liner: Transform Rogo’s operations arm and then scale it rapidly across the US
  • Manage ops team (field, backoffice, maintenance, support) to deliver service at scale

  • Execute service according to customer expectations, while maximizing profit & safety
  • Solve all operational problems and support/enable other teams to solve theirs

What you get to do:

You should have:

  • ~15+ years of experience in business, operations & people management
  • a track record of solving complex operational problems
  • Bonus experience: distributed crews, hourly/seasonal workforce, Ag, Startups
  • Bonus experience: financial analysis & reporting, equipment maintenance

  • don’t like getting dirt on your hands (we are a soil sampling company after all)
  • don’t embrace seasonality of Agriculture and its inherent intensity
  • don’t embrace ~20-40% seasonal travel as needed to scale across the Midwest
