Interns will be responsible for learning about and assisting with Beck’s Research Department. Interns will have the opportunity to take part in several facets of corn and soybean research including performance testing, corn breeding, molecular markers, transformation, and product development. Internships available for Summer of 2024.
This person will have a specific focus in the Biotech Laboratory, by supporting efforts in DNA isolation and automated genotyping, qPCR and zygosity testing, assisting with tissue culture, supporting product quality control, and participating in future research efforts at Beck’s Superior Hybrids while adhering to strict sample quality standards.
