Come join our team! We are currently seeking a Product Manager for the US Soybean Herbicide portfolio. This exciting role provides significant business experience and the opportunity to positively the broader US Crop Protection market. The Product Manager initiates, develops, organizes and implements annual marketing plans aligned to the portfolio strategy and annual sales and margin targets. This role is based in Indianapolis, IN and reports to the Enlist and Soybean Herbicides Portfolio Marketing Leader.

What You’ll Do:

  • Aid the Portfolio Marketing Leader and Strategic Marketing Manager in the development of the five-year marketing strategy and is accountable for developing and executing year one of the plan to achieve portfolio objectives, sales, and margin targets.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the market, customers, competition and internal strategies to identify opportunities, develop focused plans and launch key marketing initiatives to drive organizational success.
  • Provide customer interaction, pricing, forecasting, and partnering with the sales and account management organizations.
  • Collaborate across organizational functions including commercial, finance, customer service, product development, marketing communications and integrated field science.
  • Serve as the foundational lead and collaborate with Demand Managers and Portfolio Marketing Leader on monthly volume and pricing forecasting.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications to drive the marketing communications strategy.
  • Lead portfolio presentations at both internal and external meetings, including but not limited to customer and sales meetings.

Qualifications

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Ag-business, Ag-economics, Marketing, Agronomy or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, sales, or sales management, preferably in agriculture
  • Experience with managing large, diverse product portfolio
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate, develop solutions and create paths to success for key stakeholders
  • Analytical capabilities and proficiency in Excel
