InsightTRAC is a start-up precision-robotics company that leverages cloud-based data to provide the agricultural industry with an autonomous solution for what is currently a manual process. What you’ll get to do:

  • Bring your creativity and help solve some of the craziest problems; live outside the box
  • Work with a talented team of engineers to design, build, test, and launch precision robotics (including an autonomous pellet shooter!)
  • Travel in the field to train growers and ensure their autonomous rover hits peak performance
  • Develop and manage schedules for development, testing, shipping, and travel logistics
  • Establish field testing standards and methods; collect and analyze data
  • Have a blast with your teammates and customers, (we like to joke around and have some fun)
  • Nurture relationships with teammates, customers/growers, and technology partners
  • Be flexible to solve problems real-time, any time
  • Be self-regulated, manage your own schedule and drive your own success
  • Learn and develop new skills
  • Help establish the culture, values, roles, and rhythms of the company

 

What will make you successful:

  • Experience in CAD; preferably SolidWorks
  • Comfort using a variety of engineering tools and systems
  • Plenty of experience working in the shop prototyping the next version
  • Ability to fail-fast-forward with confidence and energy
  • Project engineering experience
  • Industry experience in agriculture and/or robotics is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills essential
  • Demonstrated grit and determination
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on other product development or engineering projects
  • Work remotely from anywhere in the US with occasional visits to a facility in Zeeland, Michigan for designing, building, and testing products with the team
  • Travel will be required for field testing in California and Australia
  • Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without restrictions or expirations
