The Senior Associate for Programs & Promotions plays a key role in driving customer acquisition and retention for the Elanco Pet Health business. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing Operations, you will have the opportunity to build and execute promotional strategies and programs to engage veterinarians as well as pet owners, executing on the Elanco value proposition for our key brands. You will work with our best-in-class marketing and sales teams to identify and apply customer insights to optimize brand value and strive for constant improvement in the customer experience.



The primary purpose of this job is to own key promotional programs for the Elanco Pet Health business from start to finish, including design, approval, execution and evaluation.



  • Work across market and customer segments, and with brand managers to understand plans goals, strategies, tactics and budgets.
  • Design programs and promotional elements that facilitate delivery of key brand deliverables.
  • Collaborate with analysts and subject matter experts internally to secure alignment to execute.
  • Understand & adhere to all compliance guidelines & policies, including privacy, financial and regulatory.
  • Manage & utilize resources, agencies & vendors as needed to create platform & materials for optimal execution.
  • Track & evaluate results of programs & promotions, drive improvement in effectiveness, efficiency and customer experience. Lead review & communication to stakeholders including senior leadership.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years relevant business experience

  • Professional level writing, speaking, presenting and communication skills
  • Capable of quickly learning and adapting to new technology
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Suite including Teams, Excel Power BI, Power Point, etc.
  • Experienced formatting & writing proposals
  • Knowledge in/with SAP, pricing conditions, purchase requisitions, etc.
  • Experience with platforms for file sharing and reporting
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and work independently to achieve goals & objectives.
