Corteva Agriscience has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Lead EH&S Delivery Manager.   This role can accommodate a flexible work arrangement where you may work multiple days a week from home.  The position is located in Pittsburg, California.

How will you help us grow? It matters to us, and it matters to you!

  • Participate in EH&S related assessment and audits.
  • Address incident and audit corrective actions that involve systems deficiencies.
  • Ensure that Management of Change for EH&S matters is implemented and provide EH&S input for project and MOC reviews.
  • Ensure EH&S work processes, standards and procedures are applied within the units through role assignments and training.
  • Support site-wide EH&S systems as needed.
  • Identifies potential EH&S related business risk.
  • Lead EH&S incident reduction efforts.
  • Lead and/or participate in the investigation of EH&S incidents using the global EH&S process.
  • Assures that the compliance process in the units is in place and functioning by delivering the systems and tools necessary to ensure regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local requirements as well as internal Corteva EH&S requirements.
  • With the consultation of the EH&S Center of Expertise, determine the applicability of regulatory requirements to their units.
  • Link to the Center of Experise and obtain clear interpretations for issues.
  • Site EtQ and Incident Management administrator.
  • Injury / Illness incident classification.
  • Site Compliance Task Focal Point.
  • CalOSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Coordinator.


What expertise have you grown? What do you bring to the table?

  • Bachelor of Science (BS): Safety Engineering Degree / Engineering Degree (mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.) would be acceptable but chemical would be preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills
  • Excellent consultation, facilitation, and influencing skills
  • Excellent inter-personal relationship skills to all levels in an organization
  • Demonstrated open and clear communications and processes for issue resolution
  • Development of and maintaining efficient strategic relationships and communications
  • Self-motivated, independent thinker
  • Facilitates development and leveraging of expertise
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities
  • Works methodically and meets required deadlines
  • Well organized with a demonstrated ability to work without supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent training and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze technical writing and regulations
  • Broad experience with computers including word processing, spreadsheets, database and training/presentation software
