Your Role: Infrastructure SME – SiteOps IT North America MQ & RD

 

The SiteOps team serves the Elanco manufacturing and research and development sites in the North American region.  This role is based at the Clinton, IN Manufacturing facility providing IT infrastructure support primarily for the Clinton and Terre Haute facilities with occasional support for other manufacturing, R&D and warehousing facilities within North America.

 

The SiteOps IT Analyst will focus on assessment and subsequent remediation against Elanco standards of the local network, hosting and security solutions.  This includes, but is not limited to physical cabling, room standards, high level network designs, equipment management, telephony, CCTV and access control.

 

Your Responsibilities: 

  • In-depth knowledge of site business processes and how they interact with IT systems.
  • Advise and influence business areas during requirements gathering to ensure decisions lead to a solution that represents business needs.
  • Project management oversee full lifecycle of assigned projects.
  • Critically evaluate user requests and use technical and process knowledge to determine underlying true business needs.
  • Provide expertise and leadership in the development and integration of IT and OT solutions that support systems and business processes.

 

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • Education: BA/BS Degree (IT, Computer Networking) or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
  • Required Experience: 3 years’ experience in Information Technology
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Elanco does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.

 

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):

  • Previous Technology Integrator/Business Analyst experience
  • Previous Operational/Information Technology infrastructure support experience
  • Experience with Elanco established ITIL management tool (ServiceNow)

 

Additional Information:

  • ​Location: Clinton site, Supports both Clinton & Terre Haute Location
  • 8-hour day shift, Minimum travel required M-F
  • Some on call work may be needed to support our 24/7 operations
  • FDE: This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential to extend annually for up to 4 years.
