Elanco is seeking a GA IT Advisor who will report to the GA IT Senior Director and be responsible for partnering with our general and administrative leadership to shape strategies that drive company value, accelerate productivity whilst maintain company obligations to regulatory bodies. The primary focus of this position will be on key initiatives in the HR, Legal, Ethics & Compliance and Corporate Affairs space ensuring that Information Technology solutions are leveraged to meet more valuable business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

In partnership with the Information Technology Leadership and other Information Technology Advisors/Consultants, this role will have direct responsibilities across the Global Business Service IT for:

  • Partner with Global Business G&A Stakeholders to understand and influence broad business strategies in the context of information technology as a key enabler and differentiator.

  • Have an established comprehensive knowledge both business and technical focusing on HR, Legal, Corporate Affairs and Ethic & Compliance.

  • Engage with the GA leaders to build multi year capability roadmaps maximizing the value of the business investment.

  • Correlating business and IT insights into business value, driven by the GA Portfolio management through established governance processes and prioritization with the business stakeholders.

  • Lead the business cases, valuation, early discovery and development of key HR, Legal, E&C, Corp Affairs IT initiatives.

  • Partner across the IT organization, with a focus on processes, to set definitive strategies that lead to accelerated outcomes across complex problems or opportunities driven in a One Elanco mindset.

  • Interpret and translate complex regulatory drivers, compliance requirements, company risks, and company exposures to ensure IT solutions in GA space are best positioned to maintain integrity, trust and reliability.

  • Ensure alignment with internal IT delivery groups ensuring the successful delivery of the business outcomes.

  • Lead change, collaborate, build partnerships and achieve tangible results through the engagement and alignment of multiple stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Information Technology or related field.

  • At least 5 years of application experience, preferably in G&A with applications such as Workday, Success Factors, SAP, ServiceNow.

  • Extensive experience with portfolio management, including processes, valuations, budgets and business planning and operational execution.

  • Deep G&A business knowledge that led to influencing the performance of a global business process/area/function through the use of Information Technology

  • Identify and analyze key technology trends that can be used with G&A

  • Mastered capability in unlocking data to drive insight.

  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple business stakeholders with different priorities.

  • Strong Leadership and negotiating skills across different levels of leadership building string partnerships.

  • Expertise in working in complex, diverse landscape (business, technology, regulatory and partners)

  • Strong Organizational and Communication skills with key focus on conveying complex ideas and thoughts into clear definitive directions and results

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and working autonomously

  • Experience in Computer System Validation in a GxP environment

Employment Length: This position is for a period of 24 months with the potential to extend up to a maximum of 4 years
