Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategic marketing communications plans to support overall business objectives.
  • Driving growth in advocacy, membership, thought leadership, brand awareness, and engagement efforts.
  • Leading the creation of a comprehensive marketing plan. Manage the creation and execution of integrated marketing communications campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Leading a team of marketing communications professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive results.
  • Overseeing the development of compelling messaging and creative assets that resonate with our target audience and effectively communicate the value of the organization and how we proactively address the needs of the agriculture ecosystem.
  • Taking responsibility for management of marketing operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with business goals.
  • Working with all Farm Bureau teams and volunteer leaders, including county Farm Bureaus, collaboratively to ensure alignment and integration of marketing communications initiatives.
  • Developing and leading a professional team.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Leading crisis communications for INFB and its members.
  • Evaluating marketing analytics and agency partners.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA in Marketing or Marketing Communications.
  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Preference will be given to a candidate who can demonstrate a passion for agriculture.
  • Proven track record in marketing strategy development, planning, and execution.
  • Strong storytelling abilities and creative thinking skills, with a passion for developing compelling narratives and content.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, social media, PR, and content marketing best practices and trends.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements.
  • Knowledge of internal communications and publications.
  • Knowledge of event and program communications.
  • Knowledge of crisis communications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
