Overview:
The Elite AGx Lead will champion the integration of cutting-edge agricultural technologies across an assigned region within Keyston Cooperative and drive the growth of Ag Technology services. This role will be instrumental in helping our growers and agronomy teams adopt precision ag tools, optimize data-driven decision-making, and enhance sustainable farming practices.
This position will work throughout Clinton, Carroll, Cass, Boone, and Howard counties.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Supports Keystone Cooperative’s stated Vision, Mission, and Business Values.
- Technology Leadership & Implementation
- Lead the regional rollout and support of precision ag technologies including variable rate applications, drone scouting, and digital agronomy platforms.
- Collaborate with the Regional Director, Sales Lead, Agronomist, and agronomy locations to identify technology needs and tailor solutions to the needs of customers.
- Evaluate and pilot emerging Elite AGx innovations, ensuring alignment with Keystone’s operational goals and grower success.
- Customer Collaboration & Agronomic Prescriptions
- Work directly with growers and agronomy teams to develop customized agronomic recommendations and variable rate prescriptions based on field data, soil sampling, and yield analysis.
- Support the integration of digital tools into the decision-making process, ensuring that recommendations are both data-driven and practical for on-farm implementation.
- Monitor outcomes and adjust prescriptions as needed to improve performance and profitability.
- Training & Grower Support
- Deliver hands-on training and ongoing support to agronomy staff and customers on the use of agronomic data and tools.
- Develop and maintain user-friendly guides, training materials, and troubleshooting resources.
- Data Management & Insights
- Oversee the collection, integration, and analysis of agronomic and operational data to support yield optimization, input efficiency, and sustainability.
- Translate complex datasets into actionable insights for growers and internal teams.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Serve as the regional liaison between Keystone Cooperative, technology vendors, the field team, and growers.
- Represent the region in cross-functional innovation teams and contribute to cooperative-wide Elite AGx strategy.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Possess great interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work in team environment
- Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills, include organization and scheduling of multiple tasks and data management
- Demonstrate practical skills with sound understanding of site management, staff management and field operations
- Required overtime as the season demands.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or associate degree, in agriculture or related field; or a combination of education and/or experience
