Your Role: Director – Quality Control

As the Director – Quality Control, you will lead our QC operations at Clinton, ensuring the highest standards of safety, productivity, and employee development. You’ll strategically plan and execute quality initiatives, oversee regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of excellence in customer service.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate a strategic vision for quality control to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness of QCL labs.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 30+ department personnel, setting clear objectives and ensuring talent development and performance accountability.
  • Ensure rigorous quality assurance across product quality and processes, proactively addressing potential quality and regulatory issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement and adaptation of new processes to align with business needs while maintaining compliance and productivity.
  • Oversee laboratory operations, ensuring accurate testing and inspection of materials used in manufacturing and packaging.

 

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • Required Experience: A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in quality control or related field; minimum of 3 years of people leadership/management experience
  • Top 2 skills: Leadership/Management, Strategic Planning

  • Experience in pharmaceutical or similar regulated industry
  • Advanced degree in a relevant discipline
  • Proven track record in leading successful quality initiatives
  • Experience with international regulatory standards
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Travel: Up to 10% annually
  • Location: Clinton, IN – Manufacturing Site
