A Customer Credit Advisor at Beck’s establishes relationships with customers, dealers, teammates, and the sales team to understand the best solution to financial situations. Administering and applying credit policies along with monitoring credit and performing analysis of credit for the company to ensure our intended risk will contribute to our success. They will help the customer finance manager, legal specialist, and finance specialist with assessing the financial situation of customer accounts and recommending the best path for the customer and company. As a Customer Credit Advisor, they should have exceptional customer service, strong analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of building a relationship to work alongside our customers.   • Assess customer overall financial situation by reviewing credit matrix, financial reports, and other financial information as deemed necessary
  • Work through repayment options with customers while communicating with customer finance specialist
  • Recommend financial options for customers to meet financial goals and Beck’s commitments
  • Explain financing programs to customers, sales teams, leadership, and teammates
  • Prepare written documents to establish secured interest in purchases
  • Research, manage and maintain special collection strategies (UCC liens, mortgages, etc.)
  • Maintain/Organize Beck’s in-house financing program
  • Process credit applications, receive and track promissory notes, and assist with collections for in-house finance program
  • Month End & Year End Reporting
  • Build and explore financing vendor and third-party credit bureaus relationships
  • Assist with financing vendor negotiations for programs Beck’s has to offer
  • Create and maintain credit matrix for COD status updates and CR automated approval
  • Assist with company and customer audits
  • Monitor pending and approved legal, tax, and compliance changes at federal, state, and local levels.
  • Provide customer service by answering the phone, emails and other requests
  • Advise customers and dealers on subject matter expert topics and engage other subject matter experts needed to provide them with the best possible solution
  • Participate in new employee onboarding and other training events for team
  • Develop and expand on credit process improvements/efficiencies
  • Establish, manage, implement, and enforce credit policies and procedures
  • Reviews annual customer and sales programs accuracy and assist with implementation of changes
  • Perform other related duties as may be required by the Customer Finance Manager
  • Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing results needed
  • Travels for dealer, customer, and sales meetings
  • Protects the organizations value by keeping information confidential


1. Education and training:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Business, or related field
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record as determined by Beck’s automobile insurance policy.

2. Technical knowledge:

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, guidelines, and standards
  • Demonstrated understanding of current effective methods of financing/debt relief
  • Strong credit knowledge and basic advisory credit knowledge
  • Able to research and evaluate data to make informed decisions and solve problems

  • Minimum of three (3) years lending experience
  • Experience analyzing financial statements and calculating financial ratios
  • Previous credit/loan experience, especially in agricultural industry preferred
