This role is not a remote opportunity, it is on-site at our Distribution Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

SCOPE

The Business Intelligence Analyst assists with the development and maintenance of supply chain and manufacturing reporting. The analyst works with department leadership to evaluate needs and develops reporting to improve decision making and operational effectiveness.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support reporting needs of various company departments including production, procurement, customer service, and transportation.
  • Gather, analyze, and compile data needed to identify trends and patterns, then make recommendations
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop, manage, and build reporting and dashboard solutions to meet the needs of the business
  • Training end users on reporting and dashboards
  • Problem-solving expertise and complex analysis of data to develop business insights
  • Develop long term analytical and tactical review of production capacities.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Work 40+ hours per week
  • Bend and lift objects of up to 20 pounds

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Extensive background in building advanced analytics reporting
  • Demonstrated computer literacy including all Microsoft Office products required
  • Advanced experience with data warehousing, query development, table relationship
  • Must have demonstrated analytical and math proficiency skills
  • Must have demonstrated ability to deal effectively in interpersonal relationships
  • High level of enthusiasm, sense of urgency
