Description

The Branch Manager is responsible for oversight of the branch. Responsibilities focus on overall operations and the financial results of the branch location. This includes staffing, budgeting, asset allocation equipment and facility maintenance, and inventory control.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain appropriate staffing based on business needs
  • Manage employee programs such as performance management, payroll and employee relations
  • Maintain compliance with all federal programs regarding discrimination, harassment and drug free workplace
  • Attend management council meetings as required
  • Work with corporate on asset allocation
  • Responsible for communicating with staff concerning pertinent corporate directives and policy, related regulatory expectations, employee safety requirements, and other information as directed by corporate
  • Establish expectations regarding customer service and help resolve customer issues as needed
  • Provide oversight of the branch AP/AR coordinating with accounting for any issues
  • Review monthly operations report
  • Accountable for financial viability of the branch
  • Responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory levels
  • Responsible for conducting inventory semi-annually and as required by corporate office
  • Maintain equipment and facility and plan for needed repairs

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of agricultural industry
  • Ability to operate office equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals
  • Ability to follow established processes.
  • Ability to work with computers
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and financial principles
  • Ability to problem solve effectively
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks

 

Education:

  • High school degree required, college preferred
  • Have or be able acquire CDL and endorsements

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to sit, bend, and reach over head as part of daily office activities
