This role supports the needs of the Elanco U.S. Logistics Operations and Customer Service business with a focus of being a key contact for Order to Cash activities as it relates to licensing and our direct to veterinarian/end user business.  The role will maintain veterinary, DEA and wholesale distributor license compliance in SAP via Global Trade Services.  The role also works closely with Third Party Logistics providers to maintain a customer master database as necessary.


Key Objectives/Deliverables:

● License management through GTS, account setup and maintenance at warehouse

● Work with MedPro and DVMLicense.com to become a SME in the program to increase efficiency of license updates/ management

● Monthly reconciliation of 30k+ accounts by maintaining license # and expiration date

● Maintain Elanco customer master sync with 3PL

● Maintain Veterinary license compliance for prescription products

● Maintain wholesale distributor license compliance

● Maintain DEA customer license compliance for controlled substance products

● Monitor sample orders to ensure there are no discrepancies and orders are shipping OTIF

● Manage Winshuttle/free goods for Programs

● Run Winshuttle of weekly puppy kit files and any marketing programs Serve as the business liaison between Elanco and other IT organizations – supporting related systems, data integration and processes

● EDI support for day to day operations within the US Affiliate Work with IT and customer system teams to onboard Elanco customers onto EDI ordering platform

● Work with IT and third party logistics partner system teams to onboard Elanco warehouses onto EDI platform

● Maintain documentation and computer files in an organized and compliant manner

● Comply with Sarbanes-Oxley, cGMP regulations, and other regulatory requirements. Comply with all procedures to ensure all tasks are performed as designed or alert supervision if there are any potential discrepancies in procedure matches practice

● Ensure business processes flow smoothly including creating, reviewing, and documenting data/reports and issues promptly

● Work as a team to ensure all area goals and customer needs are met – be flexible and have a positive attitude

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1+ years of experience in operations
