Position Overview:
Works directly with the Rumensin brand director to support the execution of key brand initiatives. The Assoc Brand Manager will lead or play a substantial role in execution of Rumensin strategy.  The Associate Brand Manager will interact with key suppliers, including agencies and sit on multiple internal and external cross functional teams.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute the annual US Rumensin marketing plan for both beef & dairy to grow and defend (differentiate)
    • Drive messaging & PM development with the sales & technical teams.
    • Deploy new Rumensin creative & content through a comprehensive media & PR plan – leveraging digital, social, website(s) to increase marketing touchpoints and enhance sales & technical efforts with key audiences.
  • Collaborate with sales & technical teams to execute nutritionist (independent & elite) strategy.
  • Grow our relationship & effectively leverage the marketing agency to deliver results
  • Partner with channel marketing to deliver on Elite program (branded, value fund opportunities) and targeted growth opportunities
  • Own & leverage Rumensin brand programs (i.e. JumpStart)
  • Manage beef & dairy feed assurance platform and value-beyond-product initiatives
  • Enhance our ability to measure through collaborations with internal & external resources/data sources
  • Collaborate with Ruminant Marketing Team members on portfolio opportunities
  • Collaborate with external partners such as agency, printers and advisors as needed to execute work
  • Support Rumensin marketing director with key initiatives as needed.
  • Maintain data sources that support Rumensin Scorecard

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Business Marketing or science
  • 2+ years marketing experience (Beef/Dairy marketing experience ideal)
  • Farm animal experience/knowledge
  • Positive attitude and fit with Elanco cultural pillars
  • Demonstrated experience in working effectively with teams and various functional areas such as research, development, marketing services, finance, customer service, and business development.
  • A results driven team player able to work in and with a proactive team with a high degree of customer focus
  • Excellent organizational and implementation skills
  • Strong Communication skills: verbal, written and interpersonal
  • Ability to influence and deliver results through others
  • Personal accountability and strong drive for execution
  • Ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks.
  • Mastery of and compliance with project approval requirements, Elanco policies and procedures

Additional Information:

  • Location: preference at Elanco’s corporate headquarters in Greenfield, IN although will consider a remote worker with ability to travel to Greenfield as needed.
  • Travel: approximately 20%
