Java House specializes in the single serve cold brew coffee brewing and has come up with a quick, easy and revolutionary way to enjoy coffee.  Our proprietary single serve pods are filled with liquid concentrate cold brew coffee that you just peel the pod open and pour it over hot or iced water, it’s that easy to make your coffee!  No mess, no hassle and best of all you customize your coffee how you like.  One Java House pod has endless possibilities – if you want a latte just add some milk. in the mood for cold brew coffee grab some ice or if you just want cup of hot coffee, we’ve got you covered.   Java House is giving consumers freedom to enjoy coffee on their terms.

 

Today, Java House is a leader in cold brew coffee with a strong food service and online business. Soon, we will expand into the grocery and office coffee channels as we look to rapidly grow distribution.  Marketing will play a critical role in building brand awareness and driving consumer demand.  We are looking for a passionate ABM of Marketing to help take our coffee business to the next level!

 

JOB DESCRIPTION  

The Java House Associate Brand Manager will be responsible for

1. Implement marketing calendar and brand plans.

2. Measure, track and analyze tactics – craft performance reports.

3. Write briefs and drive creative development.

4. Monthly budget management.

 

Additionally, this role will ensure brand standards are followed and execute key initiatives to achieve growth targets. This role will work closely with the AFH and Office Coffee sales organization to ensure alignment and execution of key priorities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Marketing Plans

  • Develop marketing planning calendar – drive brand awareness, consumer trial and repeat purchase.
  • Define product value proposition to deliver compelling sell story.
  • Flawless execution of marketing tactics.

Implementation

  • Support AFH and Office Coffee sales team in developing and executing go-to-market plans to drive brand growth, increase market penetration and build the brand.
  • Foster a collaborative high-performance culture.
  • Develop marketing material across key channels – sell sheets, collateral, banners, e-blasts, banners, videos, sample kits,
  • Manage trade show creative direction – planning booth graphics, sampling and show execution.
  • Drive media planning tactics across TV, social media, print, out of home and other non-traditional mediums.
  • Ensure brand standards across consumer touch points.
  • Partner with R&D for new product development and execution from packaging to in-market commercialization.
  • Manage marketing budget inputting accurately and tracking spend to budget.

Market Assessment /Analysis

  • Stay updated on consumer trends, market dynamics and the competitive landscape.
  • Utilize data driven insights to make informed decisions and recommendations.

 

Measurement and Improvement

  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting to achieve sales targets.
  • Keep leadership team informed of marketing plans and share progress updates.

 

QUALIFICATION 

We are seeking a highly motivated business professional with qualifications that include:

  1. Track record of results from marketing strategies and plans
  2. Demonstrated analytical and strategic thinking skills
  3. Ability to clearly, concisely, and persuasively communicate internally and externally
  4. Passion for winning in the market through accelerated revenue and market share growth.
  5. Collaborative team-oriented mindset, work closely with key cross functional partners.
  6. Manage multiple projects at the same time and prioritize effectively.
  7. Consistently high execution and agility to quickly pivot based on changing business demands.
  8. Skilled in working with outside agency partners and in-house design team.
  9. Manage efforts in a fast-paced environment and take charge
  10. Be a proactive learner and manage projects and teams with a sense of urgency.
  11. BS/BA in business, marketing or related discipline required. MBA preferred.
  12. Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
  13. 1-3 years previous experience, ideally with CPG or Office Coffee products background
