Position Summary:

Serve as a leader in coordinating and delivering technical support to the poultry industry.  Work collaboratively across the business unit to meet the needs of Elanco and our customers.

Key Objectives/Deliverables

  • Provide direct customer support for Elanco products and platforms
  • Collaborate with customers to identify and solve problems
  • Serve as a resource to the sales, research and development, marketing, and technical team
  • Coordinate and conduct research on approved Elanco products
  • Present at scientific and industry meetings
  • Lead customer trials and demonstrations
  • Develop educational materials for both internal and external audiences
  • Participate in professional organizations as an Elanco representative

Basic Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) required
  • Minimum of five years poultry field experience

Additional Skills/Preferences

  • Deep technical knowledge of the poultry industry, production, and disease
  • Well versed in both Intestinal Integrity and vaccine programs
  • Effective and timely written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in teams and across functional areas of the organization
  • Leadership capabilities to navigate large, complex organizations
  • Understand the business and financial aspects of the poultry industry
  • Excellence in forming internal and external networks

Other Information

  • Field based location located on the East Coast with routine domestic travel (50-60%)
