Basic Qualifications:

  • M.S., MBA or PhD Degree in Statistics, Agriculture or Agricultural related field
  • 5+ years experience working with U.S. Beef, Dairy and Swine producers
  • Demonstrated success in persuasion, influence and negotiation skills
  • Ability to automate analyses in Excel, JMP, and SAS
  • Ability to manage and coach technical personnel
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the U.S. swine and beef industries
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written)
  • Problem solving skills
  • Project managements skills
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing strategies and practices
  • Ability to conduct data analyses using Microsoft Excel, JMP, and SAS
  • Ability to advance business opportunities for customers and Elanco Animal Health

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive strategy and business plan, structured around value creation and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred partnership status with Key FAB accounts
  • Accountable for the attainment of sales objectives and customer value delivery through the execution of Account Plans
  • Partner with relevant enabling functions (Sales Representative, Analytics, Marketing etc.) in the organization to ensure cross functional account team support
  • Coordinate the identification, development, and delivery of customer-focused, analytic solutions through direct interaction and consultation with Elanco account teams and key U.S. beef, dairy and swine customers
  • Increase the quantity and quality of data that can be turned into action and a competitive advantage for key beef customers and Elanco
  • Continuously develop B2B capabilities within the sales representatives responsible for EKS product sales
  • Be a reference and role model for the US affiliate regarding strategic planning and execution.
  • Transform Elanco’s level of influence in the Feedyard customer segment beyond the traditional animal health/production perspective by identifying the value levers needed to differentiate Elanco.
  • Deliver periodic team performance updates to senior leadership
  • Updates Monthly performance dashboards to ensure team accountability
  • Work across business units to identify and leverage value added best practices including but not limited to platforms and specific analyses
  • Influence and support EKS development and deployment of new platforms and tools

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Experience with Elanco Animal Health FAB products
  • Familiar with farm management data systems and precision farming techniques
