Overview
The Marketing Manager, Splenda Healthcare is responsible for driving branded recommendations among Healthcare Professionals and brand adoption among patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Define healthcare professional (HCP) and patient target audience and quantify associated business potential of various segments
- Implement strategic direction to create branded recommendations among HCPs across US and Canada
- Drive patients to adopt and continually use the Splenda ecosystem of product solutions
- Develop marketing programs, communications content, and implementation to support strategies and business goals
- Forecast resources, budget, metrics and business contribution for programs
- Monitor metrics, provide monthly reporting & optimizations
- Lead HCP conference strategy & objectives, communications priorities & messaging, and attend conferences to work at Splenda exhibit booth
- Support development of winning marketing campaigns and health relevant claims
- Create HCP and consumer health website communications strategy, messaging priorities and lead peers to implementation. Define site metrics and monthly reporting to understand impact toward strategies and business goals
- Support Future Health Product Innovation Strategy & Business Plan
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of scientific studies and leverage insights to guide strategic communications
- Cross-functionally lead peers to support creation and implementation of healthcare marketing strategies
- Support development of annual marketing plans that meet the growth objectives for branded portfolio
- Perform other support activities as requested
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of healthcare marketing experience is required. Candidates should demonstrate impressive –
- Communication skills for external and internal interactions
- Organization skills to efficiently manage projects
- Ability to provide clear recommendations to stakeholders
- Ability to work within and lead cross-functional teams, and multiple agency partners
- Knowledge of core marketing levers
- Ability to routinely write great creative briefs for agency partners
- Ability to independently use MS Excel and Power Point for analytical reporting, and leverage data from CRM and EMS
- Innovative and critical thinking to gain customer recommendations that will drive consumer adoption
A track record of exceeding expectations and an innate sense of urgency is key. Must enjoy and thrive on working in a fast-paced environment to capitalize on market opportunities. This position requires some travel; estimated at 15% and occurs periodically throughout year.
