Description
Position Responsibilities:
- Design, code, evaluate, and test system applications.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for the department or organization.
- Install, test, and update hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Fully applies basic principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments.
- Exhibits technical and operational proficiency in solving problems of moderate to complex difficulty.
- Contributes to completion of projects and programs in the area of expertise.
Knowledge and Job Requirements:
- Requires a High School diploma or GED equivalent. A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related education is preferred.
- Requires familiarity with design, programming and maintenance of communications software and establishment of software standards.
- Must have effective utilization of computer systems including company and industry-related software for essential job functions.
- Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Requires continued training to file structure and design, date base and/or date communications concepts, communications systems programming and access methods, advanced coding technique, and current system architecture, to perform successfully in the job.
