Overview
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining service standards by ensuring staff are adequately trained and providing continuous professional development.
- Overseeing costs and expenses within budgetary guidelines while executing and overseeing corporate strategic goal completion.
- Hiring, training, coaching, and developing a staff of approximately 10 employees.
- Responding to escalated problem cases and complaints through research and conflict resolution.
- Forecasting and prioritizing workloads to delegate to employees appropriately.
- Measuring employee metrics and ensuring metrics are met.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to manage and complete various projects aligned with strategic goals.
Requirements for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of related experience with a preference for at least 3 years of management experience.
- Knowledge of Life products, provisions, and policy contracts.
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, collaboration, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to assist in strategic planning and conflict resolution.
- Success in building relationships with both individual contributors and fellow leaders.
- Willingness and ability to learn and retain the utilization of computer systems essential to the job functions, including Microsoft Office, and internal processing systems.
